Who can resist working on an iconic show like Dr Who? The best part was I had complete free range on how to create the VFX for this shot. The only direction I had was the room needs to collapse. So I spent time on figuring out how to do that in the time available and then I recreated the set from the reference provided.  Definately the toughest bit of matching was the circle of light around the monster. This had to work on the carpet too and I have to match the exact penumbra of the light as it hit the carpet.
